On October 17, the volleyball court in the gymnasium of the “Father Paisiy” Secondary School brought together young people and veterans for a sports event, demonstrating how physical activity, shared experience, and setting a good example can bridge the generations.
A special guest at the event was Petyo Dragiev—a former national volleyball player, bronze medalist at the 1986 World Championship, and participant in the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games. He demonstrated volleyball techniques and shared his expertise with the young participants. The Mayor of Iskra, Mr. Nalbantov, also joined in the game.
The event was organized as part of the international project 4P-CAN, which focuses on the prevention of cancer, in collaboration with the “Father Paisiy” Secondary School. Participants wore T-shirts featuring messages related to the health topics that the project is exploring within the communities of Iskra and Bryagovo.
